Create menu items with a name, description, price and photo, group them into categories like _Appetizers_, _Main Courses_ or _Drinks_, and show the whole menu anywhere with a single shortcode. Most restaurant menu plugins are built around online ordering and delivery. This one is not: if all you need is a clean digital menu that lists your dishes and prices, there is no cart, no checkout, no page builder and no setup wizard to get through. #### Made for * **Restaurants** — a full menu grouped into starters, mains, desserts and drinks. * **Cafes and coffee shops** — a short drinks and pastry list with prices. * **Bars and pubs** — cocktail, beer and wine lists. * **Food trucks and takeaways** — a compact text-only menu that loads fast on phones. * **Bakeries, pizzerias and small kitchens** — a simple price list your customers can read on any device. #### Key features * **Menu items** with title, description, price and image. * **Categories** to organise your menu into sections (starters, mains, desserts, drinks…). * **Featured items** — highlight the chef’s specials with a badge. * **Simple shortcode** — drop `[cheyytec_menu]` on any page or post. * **Show one section** — use `[cheyytec_menu category="drinks"]` to display a single category. * **Responsive design** that inherits your theme’s colours and fonts. * **Lightweight** — the stylesheet loads only on pages that use the menu. * Works with the block editor, classic editor, and most page builders. #### Pro version Need more? **Cheyytec Restaurant Menu Board Pro** adds: * **Google rich results** — Menu schema (JSON-LD) so your dishes can show up in search. * **Allergen & dietary icons** — gluten, dairy, nuts, vegan, spicy and more on each item. * **Print-friendly menu** — a “Print menu” button with a clean print/PDF layout. Upgrade from the plugin’s admin pages. #### How to use 1. Go to **Restaurant Menu Add New** and create your menu items. 2. Set a price in the _Menu Item Details_ box and assign one or more categories. 3. Create a page and add the shortcode `[cheyytec_menu]`. 4. Publish — your menu is live. #### Shortcode options * `[cheyytec_menu]` — show the full menu, grouped by category. * `[cheyytec_menu category="desserts"]` — show only one category (use the category slug). * `[cheyytec_menu show_images="false"]` — hide item photos for a compact text menu. ## Instalación 1. Upload the `cheyytec-restaurant-menu-board` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the **Plugins** screen in WordPress. 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** screen. 3. Go to **Restaurant Menu** in the admin sidebar to add your first items and categories. 4. Place the `[cheyytec_menu]` shortcode on any page or post. ## Preguntas frecuentes ### Can I use it for a cafe or coffee shop menu instead of a restaurant? Yes. The categories are just names you choose, so a coffee shop can use _Espresso_, _Cold Brew_ and _Pastries_ exactly the same way a restaurant uses _Starters_ and _Mains_. It works equally well for bars, bakeries, food trucks and takeaways. ### Does it add online ordering or a shopping cart? No, and that is deliberate. This plugin displays a menu with prices — nothing else. If you need delivery, cart or checkout, a full ordering plugin will suit you better. ### Where do I add menu items? After activating the plugin you will see a new **Restaurant Menu** item in your admin sidebar. Click **Add New** to create each dish, set its price and choose a category. ### How do I display the menu? Add the shortcode `[cheyytec_menu]` to any page or post. It outputs the full menu grouped by category. ### Can I show only one section of the menu? Yes. Use the category slug, for example `[cheyytec_menu category="drinks"]`. ### Does it work with the block editor? Yes. Add a **Shortcode** block and paste `[cheyytec_menu]` inside it. ### Will it match my theme? The menu uses your theme’s fonts and colours by default and is fully responsive, so it looks at home on any site. ## Reseñas No hay reseñas para este plugin. ## Colaboradores y desarrolladores “Cheyytec Restaurant Menu Board – Food, Cafe & Coffee Shop Menu with Prices” es un software de código abierto.
